As a kid I loved to make models. Each one came with a sheet of decals. You’d soak them in water, they would slide off the paper, and then adhere to the plastic model.
Well, wet leaves are like decals. I was cleaning the studio and the leaves were plastered to the floor like a decal. Not only that, as I would go outside and come back in, wiping my feet did not guarantee the leaves would come off the bottom of my shoes.
In order to get dried leaves unstuck from the floor, you need to get them wet again. And, water alone doesn’t always do it. You need some wetting agent (like soap). So, a few sprays with Greased Lightning seemed to do the trick.
I finally got them all cleaned up and ready for my evening appointments. They need to make a floor mat that sucks those things off the shoes as they cross over it.
